Veterinary Dentistry for Technicians and Assistants will include 4 hours of lecture. During this time, we will cover, the technician’s role in veterinary dentistry, oral anatomy and common pathology, proper technique for dental cleaning and dental radiograph on the canine and feline patient. The wet lab portion will consist of 2 hours hands on hand scaling, ultrasonic scaling, polishing and instrument sharpening. The other 2 hours will consist of dental radiographs on both the canine and feline patient using cadavers.
